If first impressions are the most important impressions, then make your entrance decor important! The more colors you use, the more festive the look of the decor will be. The fewer colors you use, the more elegant the decor will be. Decorate the spaces you want to draw attention to. If dancing is the highlight of the celebration, make sure the dance floor is the strongest visual element. If you want the head table or podium to be the focal point of the room, concentrate your decor scheme around that.
